Reminder to switch to emailed municipal accounts before 2025 deadline
19 May 2025
The City reminds all residents to make the switch to emailed municipal accounts before 31 December 2025. Residents may send their email address and account number to the City via email or SMS. After 31 December 2025, printed municipal bills will no longer be sent and residents without access to email are encouraged to contact the City’s Call Centre for assistance.
‘More than 452 000 residents have already made the change to emailed accounts. Don’t be left behind. Make the switch now and enjoy quicker, more convenient billing. Making this switch will assist residents with better record keeping and it will help reduce environmental impact in the long-term.
